A: You can download the Amazon fire TV app on any device, I think. I have the app on my android and it works on all of my firestick. Or you can buy a replacement firestick remote.

A: No, the fire TV devices plug into hdmi ports on the back of the TV. Then you go to that hdmi input and the firestick walks you through the setup process. You DO have to have wifi though.
