Q: best buy protection plan from geek squad
A: I did not purchase one for my latest Kindle Fire, at this price I decided to take my chances. My son has had a Kindle fire for over a year, I did purchase the protection plan and it paid off. The battery was not holding a charge for more than an hour and we returned it to Best Buy, it was exchanged for a new Kindle Fire.
Q: can you play facebook games on the fire?
A: No, Adobe dropped Flash support for Android several years ago, and Fire OS (the software that runs on Kindle Fire tablets) is built off of Android, so no, no flash facebook games.
A: This item was released on 23 October 2014. I ordered mine on 2 October and received it 13 November.
Q: Is this a good father's day gift ?
A: If he is not into the expensive ones like the Samsung or Apple Mini. It is well worth the the price and the screen is amazing.
