Outstanding Adaption of the novel
There have been many versions of this movie. However, this miniseries is the best. The added time allows for greater character development and stays true to Agatha Christie's novel with a dark theme. Some of the characters you can't wait to see them get the justice that is due them. A great mystery, period piece and a fantastic cast. A must have for Mystery or Christie fans.

The Agatha Christie Masterpiece
Bought this the other day at my local BB and popped it in just to peruse the quality of the transfer and I immediately got sucked into the moody foreboding atmosphere and ended up watching the entire movie. The best part about it was that unlike other versions that have been made, this one was set in the same era AND most importantly, did not deviate from the original bleak ending.

The Perfect Ending
Having seen the 1940's version and being disappointed, I was curious about this modern version. Being presented on the BBC immediately upped the interest quotient. Compared to the 1940's film, this update returns to the novels TRUE ending and was more faithful to the sense of foreboding and dread. Highly reccomended.
