Stylish looks and good audio quality
Posted .Pros mentioned:Features, Noise cancellation, PriceCons mentioned:BassSoundcore does a good job at making a good quality earbud that has a nice modern and stylish look with high quality sound. This to me is a great alternative to the Apple Airpod lineup. Overall the packaging on this set of earbuds is well done. The visuals and information on the box is thorough and illustrated well. With these earbuds you get a charging case with a pretty cool sliding lid closure, a USB C charging cable, various eartips, and the pair of Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro. You will want to download and install the Soundcore app in your app store to maximize various settings like active noise cancelling, HearID customization, and various other earbud settings like touch control. I really like the way these earbuds sit and fit in my ear. I wish there was a tip that may have had an ear hook style as an option to feel a tad more secure in my ear shape. The technology built into the actual earbuds is pretty impressive. There are 6 noise cancelling microphones to help ensure your voice gets heard properly when you're speaking. When you have the ANC turned on these microphones are also helping to ensure that background noises remain targeted so that you can focus on the sound within your earbud. The PureNote Driver Technology is a great way to optimize your music and sound quality when listening. Soundcore offers up a 45% boost to your bass, and 30% wider frequency bandwidth than standard earbuds. This has been a big plus for me since the music I have been listening to has sounded really nice, with clear crisp notes and tones. I haven't noticed a big bass boost, but more of an overall good level of listening enjoyment. The earbuds also have touch functions such as volume control, and ANC toggle which the app will help you to tailor to your desired setting. The case has been very nice and sleek as well. Secures away my earbuds properly when not in use. Also, I like that I can use 1 earbud at a time and still keep the other in the case if I want to only listen in 1 ear. With a charged case and charged earbuds you should get 7 hours of listening time, along with 26 total hours of listening when you charge the earbuds in the case. That should be almost 3 full charges out of it. 15 minutes of a charge on the case should give you 3 hours of listening with USB C fast charge ability. And another big feature I like is that this case has Qi charging for wireless charging. The ANC aspect of these earbuds leaves a little bit to be desired. I can still hear slight background noises, but I have to realize that these are earbuds and not over the ear headphones. These have available along with Transparency mode. PRO: Good price ANC earbud ability Clear sound reproduction CON: Eartips with hook would be nice

Best quality, sound & pricing!!!
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Oh my gosh! These Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pros by Anker, true wireless earbuds are so underrated hands down... So, I watched a few videos via YouTube and researched in comparison which were better (for me) between the Beats Powerbeats Pros & Apple Air Pod Pros, at first. And because I wanted to keep as best of sound quality with my music, clarity in calls and video calls, I truly thought that the Air Pod Pros would be the best route to go. I couldn’t have been more wrong (for me). All of the qualities, amenities and features in the Air Pod Pros plus (a way better) battery life are in the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pros — so much so that my spouse ordered a pair and he has the Ultra 21+! I initially got the black ones and my spouse ordered the blue ones; I really wanted the blue ones so he was nice enough to swap for the black ones being that his phone is black and mine is the blue iPhone 12 Pro Max. The app was easy to download and setup for the fit and hearing test. The quick equalizer setup (if needed) is so easy to accommodate most any listener and I absolutely love the transparency option over noise canceling! Watching videos via YouTube, Netflix or quickies via social media with the sound quality that the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pros brings. Not to mention the quick charge wired/wireless, non bulky with a matte like finish and easy pairing case. There’s not enough I can say about Soundcore, especially since this is second kind of earbuds in roughly four years I’ve purchased of theirs. The cost was the icing on the purchase!!! Super happy about them and the investment made! Pros: Sound, Quality, Build, Price, Ease of accessibility + App Cons: It’s minor, but I listen to all sorts of music... from classical, gospel, contemporary/easy listening, hip hop, rap, r&b, instrumental and more. I test all audio devices with music by Enya for pure sound quality. There’s more bass response in the transparency (increase, especially in the vocal mode) than in noise cancellation

Great sound, customization and awesome value
Posted .Pros mentioned:Features, Noise cancellation, PriceI found these Liberty Air 2 Pro earbuds to be very nice, especially considering the much better price point compared to the competition. Product packaging is very nice with the additional eight silicone eartips nicely stored in the lower, box compartment. No worries about the earbuds coming loose from the molded packaging as it takes a bit of effort to remove the earbuds themselves. At least there should be no worries of product damage during shipping. One would be missing out on customization features to not download the Soundcore app. Ambient sound option modes include Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode and Normal. It’s nice to have the ability to hear all ambient sounds or choose vocal mode in Transparency Mode, or for travel opt to use Noise Cancellation mode which targets low-end frequencies like engine and road noise. Compared to other earbuds I’ve used I’d say the noise cancellation works remarkably well on these earbuds. The Tip Fit Test is a handy feature in the app to ensure that the fit creates a good seal for enhanced bass and better noise cancellation. Earbud controls can also be customized to one’s own liking. Sound customization within the app is pretty amazing with multiple choices such as Bass Booster, Podcast, Jazz….you name it. True audiophiles can create their own custom equalizer settings. For those who choose a bit of assistance Soundcore offers HearID to map your personal hearing sensitivity to then tailor the EQ settings to create a personalized sound profile. The earbud quality and build is very nice. The charging case has a nice smooth finish with rounded edges. The top easily slides open for easy access to the earbuds. USB-C cable charging provides three hours listening time with a 15 minute charge. A complete charge will provide seven hours of playback and up to three recharges from the charging case for a total 26 hours. For myself, this provides worry free use for every scenario I use my earbuds for. Most importantly I found the sound quality for music and calls to be very good. In listening to multiple genres of music I found the result to be quite enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Liberty Air 2 Pro given the excellent sound quality, customization options, build quality and awesome value.

Best ANC Earbuds I've Tried
Posted .Pros mentioned:Noise cancellation, Sound quality, Use with appsCons mentioned:For outdoor activityContext: I'm no audiophile, but have now used/tested ~10 different sets of wireless headphones and have a relatively good idea of what I do & don't care for. I am NOT an "unboxing" guy- the fact that these videos exist on YouTube baffles me- I mean, who has time to watch other people open things?!? That said, in a world where packaging is apparently becoming a big deal, I see the changes and can recognize & appreciate a good package. The Anker - Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro True's packaging was just really nice- a great mixture of attractive, secure & easy to open (see pics). The case, as well, is distinctive & slick- a slide open case with a matte, soft feel that sets it apart from the other earbuds I've tested. Sound-wise- the Anker - Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro True Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling sound as good or better than any other wireless earbuds I've tried. The accompanying app allows for significant customization of equalizer mix, different types of ANC (more later), controls, etc. Pairing: effortless! I've paired with no issues to my iPhone, iPad, 2 different laptops. I know this seems like a no-brainer feature for a pair of wireless earbuds... but it's not always so simple! Comfort: the Anker - Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro True Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling comes with 9 different sets of tips to customize fit, so odds are mighty good you'll be able to find the best & most comfortable fit with a little testing. And they stay in!! I can talk & chew and move around a bit without worrying that they're going to fall out. I'm still a believer that over-the-ear hooks are required for exercise (for me, at least), but the Anker - Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro True Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling handle the rigors of everyday activities with no problems. ANC: This is the 3rd pair of ANC wireless earbuds I've tested, but the only ones I thought actually delivered any actual noise-cancellation! It starts with the app's "Fit Test" function which plays a brief music clip and then lets you know if the fit of each ear is good or not. Once you've found the right fit, there are 3 ANC settings: "Normal" = no ANC, "Transparency" = actively listening & sending through outside noise, "Noise-Cancellation" = ANC on. I don't hang out in very noisy places, but simple test like snapping my fingers, turning on the TV, etc. show that the ANC setting is doing just what the name indicates- actively reducing outside noise. Previous pairs I've tested seemed to indicate almost no difference between "ANC On" & just the normal noise-cancelling you get with a good fit/seal in your ear. Different from others as well- there are 4 modes of ANC: "Transport", "Indoor", "Outdoor", "Custom". From reading the descriptions, they appear to target different frequencies depending on your environment- e.g. low frequency airplane-noise drone vs. mid-frequency from the coffee shop, etc.. Value: And to top it all off, the price point for teh Anker - Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro True Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling puts them significantly less expensive than Apple's AirPods and on par/mostly less than other brand's similar offerings, many of which I've tested and all of those are lacking in one or more of the areas I highlight above for the Soundcores! Highly Recommended!

Almost perfect

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Works perfectly with all features just make sure you put in the right size buds so the noise cancellation works better. The only reason it doesn’t get a five for me is because it doesn’t have a way of finding then if lost in the app, you would have to use a different app that is not always realizable. Other than that they sound great and I haven’t ran out of battery once, I’ve opened and closed the case like 1000 times by now and it still works like it’s brand new.

Great ANC option for in ear wireless earbuds
Posted .Features
Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5If you are looking for a great set of earbuds that happens to have ANC, look no further than these guys.... the liberty air 2 pros. Packaging: These earbuds come in a really impressive box. The surface of the box is embossed, and exudes quality. Something fitting for the latest flagship earbuds from Soundcore. Opening the box was quite easy, a magnetic clasp on the side holds the side flap snug to the box. It opens up to reveal some cool graphics showing the targeted noise cancelling, the main draw of these earbuds for me. The case and the earbuds are presented sharply on the top of the box behind a clear cover. The case and earbuds, are in a tray, from which the case was easily removed. The earbuds required a little finesse to take them out of the tray and not to damage them. Beneath the tray sits another tray, housing alot of cushions... 8 pairs to be exact. The importance of these will become apparent shortly. Lastly, there is a USB C charging cable, and the standard literature. Verdict on packing: A I like the tactile feel of the box, the items are well presented and with the massive number of ear cushions, I feel fitment will be very easy. Fitment: With all of the options for cushions, I was quite surprised that the earbuds fit almost perfectly out of the box. No need to try out the other options. However, to take full advantage of the ANC, one should first go through the fit test on the Soundcore app. This will ensure proper sizing of the cushions to maximize the enjoyment of the ANC. Verdict on fitment: A+ Very surprised on the fit right out of the box, I feel this isn’t normal for most other earbuds, but has been consistent for me with Soundcore. I haven’t yet run the fit test to confirm the cushions. Case: Quick little blurb about the case.... It slides back, this will take a bit of getting used to. The case has a USB C port on the back, along with the reset button. On the front is a bank of 3 LED lights which show status of the case battery when the lid is open. Shows the status of the earbuds when closed (and not at full charge). Case charges quite quick on standard USB port in about 2.5 hrs when needed. Verdict on case: A Took me a while to get used to the slide back lid. Case is small, and a smooth finish. Doesn’t tend to show fingerprints too badly. The sapphire blue is lit. Earbuds: The earbuds are the stem style, and have touch controls. Albeit the touch functions are limited. press button on the top of each to serve as control of the various functions. Within the app, you can customize the touch functions, but again the choices are limited. These fit in the ear quite well, and don’t require a lot of fussing about to get them locked in place. Verdict on earbuds: B+ Comfortable fit and can wear these all day without issue. Sound quality: I’ve been listening to a lot varying styles of music with these. From hard rock to classical music. With the pure note drivers, the sound is crisp and clean. The classical music is superb (Strings in Lark Ascending) and for rock the bass is stout and clean (Radioactive). I do notice, that compared to my liberty 2 pros, the volume needs to be higher than on those. However, I’m sure that it is because I don’t quite have a proper fit w/ the cushions. Further reinforcement of running the fit test to maximize enjoyment. Verdict on sound: B+ Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) The ANC can be controlled through press and hold on either earbud. Doing so will toggle to ambient mode. Great to avoid having to fumble with your device to toggle in-app. For changing to one of the three noice cancelling modes (transport / indoor / ambient) the app is req’d. You can also toggle to transparent mode through the app. Testing out the indoor setting and music quality is still quite good, and I cannot hear office noise very much. Verdict on ANC: B To be fair, I have not tested much of the ANC features, or the custom ANC setting through the app. What I did test out, was quite good, just would like to have a bit more function tied to the earbuds vs. App. Final overall verdict of the liberty 2 pros: B The main features that stand out for me are the sound quality and the fitment. I’m sure as time passes I’ll get more opportunity to explore the app and ANC in more detail. I would recommend these if you are looking for a great quality earbud with huge fitment options and ANC. Some of the features through the app, to my knowledge, aren’t available in the competitors. Thanks for your time. TS1

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I am writing this review based on my experience using these in-ear headphones by Soundcore(Anker). If you want some great sounding Active Noise Canceling headphones at a great price then these are the ones for you. At a little over $100 these will do the job and the fact that they have pretty good sound quality, it is even more recommendable. The unboxing experience is great compared to other headphones that are more expensive. I do appreciate those small details. Second, pairing the headphones is a breeze with your phone, but what makes these stand out the most is the setup process with their app. One thing I appreciated is that you can set up your own custom hearing profile. The way it works is that you do a short audio test whether or not you can hear certain frequencies and so when you then use the profile you have set, the audio is adjusted to match it. The noise cancelling works very well and these are lightweight so not noticeable while in use. I do like the tap feature on each ear bud which makes it easy to pause/play. Battery life has been great and love the fact that the case supports wireless charging so that is a win. I do recommend these headphones if you are concerned about price as these check all the right boxes. One little thing that could have been improved is the soundstage when listening to music, but then again when using Spotify or Apple Music you are using compressed audio. Either way I am happy with these in-ear anc headphones by Soundcore. I’ve been a fan of theirs and enjoy their products. Definitely a recommend buy.

Excellent Quality, Surprisingly Helpful App
Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5The headphones were much better than expected. I was jealous of my wife’s AirPods Pro, but I am on Android. From what I can tell, they sound a little better…a little clearer for my taste in music, mostly electronic, but that’s just my opinion. Her AirPods have settings for noise reduction, but I like that these have more options and flexibility about the kind and degree of noise cancellation based on the ambient sounds. The app lets you choose between whether you’re traveling and dealing with that noise, indoors, or outdoors in terms of ambient noise. That makes a real difference, and presumably when I’ll have to commute to work again it will be even better when I’m on public transportation. And working from home, the conversation option for noise cancellation blocks out a lot of the noise in my house (there’s a lot) so I can still concentrate on what someone is saying to me over the phone. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked. I think the sound quality itself is similar to the AirPods, but the level of customization options makes the real difference for me. I also really love the wireless and USB-C charging option. The app was really a surprise. I usually despise having extra apps, but it really blew me away how it helped me tune the noise reduction.

I am personally very impressed with the upgrades made from the last model and am patiently waiting for them to drop in stores for pickup !! I’d recommend these over airpod pros because of overall quality and they you save close to $100 if not more. With that money you could buy their anc q30 mode as well and still save $40-50.
