Q: Does this monitor have a speaker?
A: As far as I can tell, no. I don't see any visible speaker holes. And I have my Chromebook connected to it, and the settings say the audio output is to the monitor but there's no sound coming from the monitor. There are also no audio settings when scrolling through the menu on the monitor.

A: it doesn't have VESA Mount and height adjustment , so No Vertical. If you want vertical monitor , height adjustment you just need looking for any monitor have VESA MOUNT (100x100, or 75X75, or 200X200 ) . and buy monitor arm, or monitor mount for use with it.

A: Yes - you will need a cable to go from the monitor (either HDMI or VGA) to your laptop. Your dell laptop may have an HDMI or VGA port, but if it does not, this is fine, you can get a cable (or adapter) to one of the ports it does have (likely USB-C).
