Q: Where do you get a replacement cable for this 9.7 a1673 specifically...it is not the same as the other ipads....it is a different system from my other mini...

A: Yes it is compatible with any service prodviders data plan. YOu have to get a SIM card from the service provider.

Q: I currently have an iPad that used AT&T but does not use a SIM card-- not sure why this new one is different. Can you explain???

Not Bad
The iPad Pro 9.7" is in my opinion a small to medium improvement from the iPad Air, the display is better, there is more storage capacity and it is a bit faster. There are a few new features such as the true tone display which matches the ambient room color, a built in sim and the ability to use an Apple Pencil. For my needs I was drawn to the higher storage capacity and the overall speed improvements and the iPad Air wasn't what I would call slow. If you're trying to decide on whether or not to get the iPad Air or Pro I would say get the air unless you want more storage and or want the other features that the pro has. For me I love the pro's new features and would buy it again, I do wish it came with force touch such as is available with the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, it's actually a really handy feature that's only going to get better,

Big Improvement
Love the upgrade in features & performance from the iPad Air 2. Same size/weight but a significant upgrade in usability. The keyboard cover is ingenious & I can actually use it while sitting it on my lap. The pencil is a work of art in itself, though I wish Apple had designed an elegant way to store it on/with the iPad. This is so much lighter and more portable that MS Surface machines. The iPad Pro 9.7 is still not enough to be your only computing device, but for me it is getting to be 85-90% there. Love this machine.
