Apple MacBook Pro Pre-owned Laptop: The inside story. And the outside story too.
With its durable unibody enclosure, Multi-Touch trackpad and energy-efficient design, MacBook Pro looks beautiful. And works beautifully.
Strength. Lightness. Beauty. Seamlessly integrated.MacBook Pro is machined from a single piece of aluminium, an engineering breakthrough that replaced many parts with just one. It's called the unibody. And the first time you pick up a MacBook Pro, you'll notice the difference it makes. The entire enclosure is thinner and lighter than other notebooks. It looks polished and refined. And it feels strong and durable - perfect for life inside (and outside) your briefcase or backpack.
Q: What year is this? What is the operating system? And is this with touch pad or id lock touch pad
A: Don't waste your time, it's so old I could update any software and Apple told me there no longer make parts for this machine, and I ended up returning it :/
A: This is a 2017 model, so it should have Final Cut.
Q: Do you think this a good computer to use for a college student ?
A: I would suggest to go ahead with this as this is a powerful machine with superb build quality. This is lightening fast and you will not regret. You can add up to 16 GB RAM if needed which most of other laptops in the same price range doesn't support. This had way better specs than the yoga for the less price. I would definitely recommend this product.
Q: What condition are these pre-owned laptops? Dent and Scratch? Etc...
A: Hey MARS, i bought mine and you're better off just saving a few hundred bucks and buying the newer version when they're on sale. Visually, they're practically perfect. Mine was in excellent superficial condition. Internally however, it's shot. It would freeze and shut down every time I used it. I'm talking once every 5 minutes. if it did manage to stay on long enough for me to open anything, as soon as I started typing - it would let out this loud obnoxious beeping sound until I force shut it down via the power button. Bought mine for $700 - the newer model was on sale that week for $850. For $150 extra I really should've went with the newer model. I returned mine the last day of the warranty and opted to get the same model back. I'll update you on how this goes, if it's a lemon again I'm just getting a refund.
