A: If you are asking about the Apple Watch series 5, you do not need the cellular model to measure heart rate or perform an ECG. Personally, I rarely use cellular on mine, as my iPhone is always with me.
A: When purchasing, you'll be asked for the iPhone phone number the watch will be used with. If you finance the watch, Verizon may require it to be linked to an iPhone on your account.
