Q: I have the Black Milanese Loop from my series 3. Can I purchase just this watch without the band?
A: Bands are interchangeable if your series 3 is the same case size as the new series 4. 38mm matches up with the 40mm, 42mm matches up with 44m. The new watches are the same length and width of the older watches, but are thinner because of the reduction of the bezel which allows for the screens to be bigger
Q: Can I purchase this watch without the cellular?
A: The Stainless Steel only comes with the cellular option. You do not need to activate the cellular portion if you do not want to, but there is not option to purchase without at least the capability.
A: Odd as it seems, I didn't buy my Watch 4 cell+GPS to use with cell service. I pair it with my iPhone. I bought it because only the cel+GPS comes with the stainless steel case. Knowing that i can add the watch to my cell plan (Sprint) is a nice to have but right now I'd rather not pay the extra monthly cost when the Watch communicates with the iPhone to obtain cell service or to a nearby WiFi (home, work, public). So, if you can have your phone near you all the time or WiFi access for data, then you really don't need the cell service. But if you intend to leave the phone behind, I believe it is easy enough to activate the cell service, probably cheapest to go with the carrier that provides you cell phone service.
Q: Can you get those specific one GPS only? I don’t need the cellular but want the stainless steel.
A: No. Unfortunately SS is only available with cellular. My phone is on a corporate plan, and my company won't allow me to add my Apple Watch. The cellular is completely wasted for me. However, the SS and the harder watch surface were important enough for me that I went ahead and paid the premium.
Q: How long is the wait time for these if you preordered it?
A: I ordered on Nov 9th and received it on Dec 10th. If this give you an idea on your wait time frame.
Q: Are the bands interchangeable?
A: Yes, they are interchangeable with both new Apple Watch band as well as any existing Apple bands you may have previously purchased.
