A: the model number for this modem is not even in your list i ended up getting this modem to use with optimum which they told me it would work then turns out wasn't working i called arris company and they said optimum shouldn't have told me this would work they screwed up very bad service with optimum they have no clue what they are doing.

A: This is just a modem. You will still need a router. Plug the ethernet cord in the back then to router and you have WIFI. If you are an Optimum Customer this modem will not work for you.

A: SBV3202 is compatible to work only with Comcast Xfinity's services. if you are looking for a cable modem with an inbuilt wifi, you can opt for one of the the following SBG10, SBG6950, SBG7400, SBG7600, SBG8300. Please verify the compatibility with your service provider

A: No, this device won't work with Suddenlink's internet services. It is only compatible to work with Xfinity's internet services

Q: what kind of download speed will this device handle? up to 400 mbps?
A: I think it depends somewhat on your provider. While it might be rated higher (900meg down), Comcast notes it as a 400 meg down. I can confirm I get 400 meg down currently from Comcast, which is what I am contracted for.
