- A: AnswerNo. My unit has just burnt out after just 2 years. 5 HZ band is broken. All of my devices connected to 5GHZ band facing frequent freezing. I am not buying Asus products anymore.

- A: AnswerBest Buy listing is incorrect. I bought this from Best Buy last week and mine has 5 total LAN ports - 1 is a 2.5GB port. So is the WAN port. Pleasant surprise. So this is more future-proofed as people get gig+ internet speeds. But you need a modem with a 2.5GB ethernet port as well to make use of this speed.

- A: AnswerNo, this router model does not have a 10G WAN/LAN and 10G SFP+ ports available, it should have a 2.5G/1G WAN and a 2.5G/1G LAN ports. We will contact the appropriate department in order to make the necessary correction regarding the image.

ASUS AX6000 Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 Router
The ASUS AX6000 Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 Router worked exactly as advertised, great product and support from ASUS. A bit disappointed w/ Best Buy, I week after I purchased they sent me a $30 off discount to buy this same product. When I explained I already purchased and asked for credit, they ghosted me, disappointing.

Gets the job done!
Great router the only caveat i have with it is that it is mildly difficult to get the most out of it.

Unsatisfied/disappointed! Not a quality ASUS brand
I’ve had ASUS routers for nearly 20 years. For some reason this one’s terrible. I believe I have a defective unit but am 2 weeks outside of the return window. Long story short, my internet and WiFi connectivity became completely unstable and unreliable, I didn’t believe it was the new router and checked everything else on my network. But after finally going back to my old ASUS router everything is stable again. I run 2 ASUS RT-AC88U’s as ai mesh nodes and have been for a few years. I’m in a remote location and use a Netgear hotspot for internet service using external antennas, checked everything, rest everything to factory settings and tried weekly to see if I could get a stable network again. My original ASUS RT-AX88U suffered a lighting strike and took out 7 of the 8 Ethernet ports, so I figured I would upgrade to the newest model this unstable, unreliable unit. First off the BestBuy website advertised it as having 8 Ethernet ports, it did not, it only has 4. I debated returning it for that reason but was able to make do with only 4 and ended up using an old netgear switch for the 4 extra ports. After weeks of struggling, I went back to my old ASUS RT-AX88U, which was a major pain in the butt as I had to re-initiate the ai mesh nodes for the 2 ASUS RT-AC88U’s. Everything seems stable again and seems I’m stuck with this unit. Unfortunately I don’t get to focus on it everyday, for the most part it worked most of the time, but whatever is going on with it, I can’t figure out or remedy. Firmware was updated, but this unit or model just doesn’t perform half as reliable as my older (non-Pro) version of this router. Buy at your own risk, I used to live my ASUS routers, but this experience is making me wonder if I need to try another brand. I’ve spent way too many hours trying to effectively troubleshoot a brand new router (31 days old as of this posting). The closet Bestbuy for me is over an hour away, so it not very convenient for me to just drive over. The most difficult thing for me is I can’t seem to pinpoint exactly it’s strange behavior, it really had so many random issues that I’m just wondering if the units too new and they haven’t worked out all the issues yet in firmware updates? Sometimes the GUI would just lock up, sometimes the WiFi would just disconnect, sometimes WiFi would be on and the internet would disconnect. Thing is I could never predict when it would happen, it would seem good for a few hours then start acting up. When I finally got to the point of swapping out the router was after watching a movie over my WiFi network paused twice in 2 hours, I never had that issue before, I knew it was the router, I swapped it out and now back using my old router.
