The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4070 brings a whole new meaning to going with the flow. Inside and out, every element of the card gives the monstrous GPU headroom to breathe freely and achieve ultimate performance.
Q: What is the recommended power supply?
A: The recommended PSU is a 750W or a 850W PSU.
A: Its an Asus TUF, the shroud is made of metal, and nvidia has recently made making profits on their cards increasingly tougher, which made EVGA drop out of the market and caused Add in board partners like asus to raise prices. Nvidia doesnt treat their board partners that well.
A: Factory overclocked it.
A: I assume you are asking about the physical size of the card. From ASUS website: 301mm x 139mm x 63mm
A: This depends on the CPU and the other system components power draw, If it has a decent efficiency rating and if the power supply is quality, you could get away with 600w. Id say a reccomended unit would be something like a Corsair CX650M if you are paring this with a CPU with a TDP of less than 150-200W (so something like a Ryzen 5 7600X). People reccomend 750W for peace of mind and for future upgrades. Logically, 600W is the minimum and you can get away with it. I think best buy mislabeled the reccomended watts. That is the TDP of the 4070 they labeled; 200W. They must have mistook it for the reccomended power supply.
