At first I found the lack of reviews worrisome, so I'm gonna help solve that right now. This is an excellent computer for the price, and I got it in good condition. Good looking design, lots of features, and reliable (so far). The DVD drive and HDMI port are a real plus, and the ethernet port is especially useful... especially if you are a student like me and the campus wifi is garbage. If you're asking yourself, like I was, is the SSD really that fast? the answer is YES. I'd only ever had an HDD and this is a considerable improvement in speed, especially in the time it takes for the computer to boot up/restart. The space on the drive (256 GB) is a tad tight, but it really isn't a huge problem. Unfortunately, this space was cut short by the device coming with a lot of "bloatware", typical of an Asus product. My only real complaints are that because of the DVD drive, nearly every port is on the left of the laptop: 3 USBs, the HDMI, the VGA, the Ethernet, the power, and a large fan vent. Only the SD card slot and one USB port are not on this side, so if you plan on having this connected to every accessory ever, be warned. Also, I was a bit disappointed by the display; the screen is fairly bright and sharp, but often things looked "fuzzy" or out of focus. This is just a laptop though, so it is not really a big deal. Overall, excellent value, and very cheap considering the Intel i7, 8 GB of RAM, and the SSD to boot.
