Best pre-built you can buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've had this PC now for 2 months now and it is amazing. I have upgraded the RAM up to 64 GB and added two SSDs in the hot swap bays (which is one of the best features on this PC). The CPU, motherboard and GPU are amazing. I feel like it should have more USB inputs on the rear. The keyboard it comes with is very nice as well as the mouse albeit wired. Complaint time! There are a lot of comments about it running very loud. I will say that the fans are louder than comparable PCs pre-built or custom. It has never been a nuisance or ever interfered with gaming, work or streaming. This case does run hotter than it should to be honest, but again have never seen a problem from it. The Armoury Crate program ASUS includes with the purchase for RGB control and over-clocking settings is very very finnicky. Sometimes it works....and sometimes it doesn't. I've found restarts fix these issues but ASUS should really update bugs on it more often. Overall, I would highly recommend this PC despite the cost.

Great specs. Not good parts besides cpu and gpu
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very awesome Rtx 2080 ti asus 3 fan vertically mounted. Crappy noisy power supply and ultra noisy cpu cooler. It. Revs up light a jet engine or vacuum. Just terrible. Returned it. Looks nice but its huge. Not worth $4000. I got the corsair one wayyyyyyy quieter and runs cooler even tho a quarter of the size. U can see comparison pic

Insanely disappointing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer has a nice CPU and GPU, but that’s where the pros end, it is unbearably loud due to the low quality fans and the cable management is horrendous. On top of all that the case is double the width of what it needs to be.

Posted .Dear DisappointedDoovid,
I'm sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with the design and performance of your machine. That is absolutely not the type of experience we want any of our customers to have. This system is specifically designed to increase airflow and limit acoustics. Can you send me a video of the case when it is running? You shouldn't be hearing any noise above 30dB. I will also forward your feedback on cable management and case design to the Product team for review. Please reach out to me at cl-lane@asus.com and include case #N200537096 in your email for reference.

Great computer until everything goes wrong.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like this computer. To be honest the specs are outstanding. The experience I had was definitely not. I’ve bought quite a bit of Asus ROG products over the past 10 years from MB’s to laptops. This was my first ROG desktop. Ordered it brand new and straight out of the box I knew there was trouble. For starters the PSU switch was still set to the “on” position, which I thought was odd for being new. I could tell it was new from all the wrapping and style it was in. Plugged it in and got to a boot error screen saying someone had unplugged it while it was on. It appears someone at the factory was ready to go home and instead of properly shutting it off, they just yanked it lol. Got past that screen to having a million drivers that needed to be “updated”, to which it all did automatically, which I couldn’t turn off. In one of the drivers updating it totally bricked the Armoury Crate app and lost the ability to change the aura sync on the MB. Tried for over 7 hours (yes 7 hours) to get it back. Had to uninstall/reinstall the app over and over. Even tried to reformat the computer using the recovery which also didn’t work, kept saying it was corrupt. Finally got it working by uninstalling armoury crate the 4th time and flashing the bios to a newer version it needed...but now a new problem...the new bios update (305) will change the OC tools in the bios and now it will not let me change the power settings in armoury crate. After messing it with it another 10-12 hours I gave up and returned it. Got no help from asus tech support. They wanted me to take it to a service center lol! I said nope, I’ll just return it. Word of advice IF you get it. DO NOT update anything including the bios, with the exception of the nvidia drivers. It will brick many features. Read the reviews online for armoury crate if you don’t believe me. It’s terrible.

The ASUS ROG Strix GA35A is a BEAST!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ASUS ROG Strix GA 35A is a true BEAST of a computer! Although a bit more expensive, this computer has all the power you will ever need...now or in the distant future. Out of the box set-up took no time at all and was pretty straight forward. The 16 core 32-thread AMD processor is lightening fast, perhaps too fast for the NVIDIA GEForce RTX 2080 Ti GPU. The 2TB HDD and 1TB SSD, along with 2 additional SSD 2.5 inch slots give you more than enough storage space. Now if I can just find a monitor to match the BEAST!

Good Desktop but watch out for lemons
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using this Desktop for almost a month now and it has been pretty good (9-10+hrs a day). Love everything about it... I saw some reviews about the fan noise and in my opinion its not that annoying. It does make a loud revving fan noise on start up but about 15-20 seconds later it shuts of and after that its a low/low mild noise. Armor crate app seems to have an option to change the speed of the fans if its still bothering you. Love the chunky case, keyboard and everything else looks like high quality material. Do watch out for lemons, this is my second desktop; the first one was just horrible...mayor software problems but maybe I was unlucky. Returned it, got my refund.. decided to try again a couple of weeks later and now the one I have now works like a charm. I will still give it 5 stars, even though I got a bad unit on my first purchase.

Blazing fast gaming .....and school :)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my hardcore gaming son for gaming obviously and remote school. We had been overloading a previous PC with heat etc. This thing has amazing cooling and is super fast and easy to set up. Only downside is if it looks big in the picture.....your right its huge. I'd estimate 25-30% bigger than a standard PC to get all the bells and whistles in it. I put it on a metal PC stand for air flow and the weight bent it in a week. It now sits on a rubber covered moving dolly if that helps you judge size. But.....we don't regret it.
