Q: QuestionDoes this board support DDR4 ram? Or do I need to get DDR 5 for this?(8 answers)
A: AnswerNo, it only supports DDR5 memory.Answered by ASUS Answers
- A: AnswerWindows 11 is listed as a compatibility, not included. Besides, you need to install your OS on a hard drive, not a motherboard.

Q: Questionis this compatible with Ryzen 9 5900x?(5 answers)
A: AnswerNo, there is a mistake on the specs here. This is an AM5 board but as of this writing it mistakenly lists it as an AM4 board. the X670 is strictly for AM5 processors.Answered by Shiny151

Q: QuestionWhat graphics card and power supply are recommended for 4k video editing?(2 answers)
A: AnswerTo be honest, any 30 or 40 series video card would be good for 4k video editing. Obviously the higher card number such as a 4070 Ti or higher would be best, but cost becomes a factor. I can't speak for AMD cards as I don't use them. You always have to base your power supply on the usage of your components. Most modern systems with the newest tech require at least 750 Watts or higher. Determine your video card wattage and mother board wattage and usually add another 100 or so for memory, cooling and RGB if you have it.Answered by AnthonyG

Good board, but don’t buy this one for its Wi-Fi
Overall this is a great motherboard. It’s built well, has plenty of nice features, has a nice bios, runs stable, and really is a joy to work with. No complaints in that regard. I do have a complaint with the Wi-Fi aspect of this board. It advertises Wi-Fi 6E compatibility, which it does have, but it’s using a cheap Mediatek chipset to do it. This chip is wat slower than nicer 6E cards, like the Intel ax210. It only supoorts 80MHz channels and can only do about half the expected speeds you’d see from 6E. Mine tops out around 700mbps, which is WAY slow for a 6E connection. The comparable Intel card can do nearly 2 gigabit no problem. Very disappointed with that, I’d expect better from a $300+ board with Wi-Fi right in the name.

Asus delivers another solid motherboard
The x670e motherboards are the forward thinking format for AM5. Curent pricing of 330 msrp is certainly higher than the competitions cirrent compatible motherboards. Is it worth it? Depends but i think so. Positives: Nice granular overclockong options. Pci5 gpu and ssd slot. 24 pci lanes instead of intels 16. Rock solid stable. Precision boost overdrive is great and works. Also puchased some team group dd5 ram 5600 and tried to overclock it. This board boosted timings to 50 from 38 BUT in the boards settings in advanced it has a wonderful handful of profiles. One eas hynix 6200 2 gb ds and WORKED perfectly. I effectively got a 100 follar discount on performance ram thanks to this board. Plenty of fan headers along with RGBs. Negatives Asus has posted software on their site thats out of date. Their armory program installed all the most cutrent. Wasted somw time there. Honestly i just wish it was a little cheaperd but this will be a grest mobo for the next 5 years worth of processors

Great performance and design
I find this to be one of the best values for AM5 X670e motherboards. The features alone are great, it's one of the few in it's price range that actually includes a PCIe 5.0 GPU slot. There are other motherboards similar in price, but they only include PCie 5.0 M.2 slots for storage, NOT GPU. Also, the build quality is excellent, has a thick board, and even the NVME slots have heatsink covers. I was able to do a RAID 0 with 2 NVMEs with no problem.
