Take slim computing with you everywhere you go thanks to this Asus laptop. It has an Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of memory so that you can get plenty done, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card powers through your favorite games. Plenty of space in the 256GB M.2 hard drive and the 1TB SATA hard drive means this Asus laptop can handle plenty of applications.
A: This laptop would be a very good choice for that. I have a very similarly spec-ed ASUS and it flies through Office work and web stuff. If you pull the trigger on this one, make sure to change the file location of your downloads, documents, and pictures (in windows explorer, right click Downloads, etc, select properties, go to Location tab) to point to your HDD (D:) drive so you don't fill up the SD with large storage files.
A: The laptop is good for video-editing. The RAM may need to be upgraded in order to run 2 video-editing program at the same time.
Q: I am looking for a laptop that I can do some music production with. Can this machine handle that?
A: That’s what I bought this laptop for. It handles fl studio and pro tools perfectly. I haven’t tried abelton or other production DAWS but pro tools is a lot more “needy” than others and it handles it seamlessly.
A: As far min requirements I’m not too sure but, it does run GTA V at 30 FPS. If I’m not mistaken that same game runs 30 FPS on console. Hope this helps
A: This laptop supports Wi-Fi 802.11 AC. Please consult your modem/router documentation to compatibility.
A: This laptop's power adapter has a safe operating range between 100-240 volts AC.
Q: About how long does battery last?
A: When I use it for basic research on Google or writing an essay, it can last from around 7 am to 4 pm. When I am using it with Photoshop and I have multiple things running at once it can last from 7 am to around 1 pm. It is on for most of the time except for about 30 minutes (transitions to classes and home to work)
Q: Does this have a Smart Card Reader?
A: No, this device does not have a Smart Card reader.
