A: this is just a router not a modem. you will still need your ISP's modem. this router does utilize 2.4g and 5g network. i just upgraded my spectrum modem and upgrades my router and im getting more the 300mbs. which is the service i pay for. i have 8 devices connected to this router and can mange any of the devices via the mobile app. i have vivant as a security system and it works well with this router.
