I don't understand all of the negative comments about these cables. These cables are expensive, but they are also good cables. When I had my standard DVD player, I had a regular HDMI cable going to my receiver. The cables that came with the player worked fine. However, when I replaced that player with a new Sony 4K UHD player, those cables could not handle it. I replaced the standard HDMI cable with the AQ Cinnamon HDMI cable and noticed a huge difference. First, the colors were brighter, and the picture more clear. But the biggest change was the lack of digital noise and digital artifacts during high-color, fast moving video. I did a before and after with the new Wonder Woman, John Wick, and John Wick 2, and the picture seemed more detailed. I also did a test with Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy 2, both Blu Ray, and they looked better during some parts with these cables, especially the bright, high-color scenes. I believe in these cables. I do not think they are for everybody, nor do I believe that everyone will see a major difference. If you are already using good cables, maybe these aren't for you. Also, not everyone want's the absolute best experience, and I understand that. But to give them a bad rating because you believe you paid too much or you think it is too expensive for them is not a quality review and does a disservice to others who are looking to improve their video. I have been an AudioQuest user for many years. I started using AQ cables as an audiophile back in the late 1980's. My system was a McIntosh MX110 preamp, a McIntosh MC2505 amp, a modified original AR turntable, a Nakamichi RX202 cassette deck, and Mirage speakers. I changed my Monster Cable speaker cables with the AudioQuest Midnight cables. The AQ Midnight cables completely opened up the bottom end and brightened the music. The difference was almost overwhelming. As long as AQ continues to make quality cables, I will use them when I need them.

HDMI cables are not all the same and I'm not just speaking in terms of their version 1.0, 1.1, 1.2...2.0. 2.1 - up to and including this AudioQuest Cinnamon's version: HDCP 2.2. If I focus just on 4K UHD content, I want peace of mind in my HDMI interconnects. I paid up for a decent TV/Monitor, AVR, UHD Blu-ray Player, etc. and don't want any extra variables or unreliability in the video/audio chain [the sole purpose of this particular cable]. Folks having issues with synchronization (dialogue so far off it sounds like a 70's Kung Fu movie), imaging (spouse asking "so why did we go 4K...I can't see any difference")...is all bad news. Not always attributed to lesser expensive HDMI cables but my opinion is that I'll do everything I can to avoid these pitfalls and this brand and cable level are very dependable. I've had no issues and even upgraded from their Forest line when I moved to 4K to ensure that reliability. Those Forest HDMI cables are now used in another theater application and have replaced lesser quality cables (kind of an across the house upgrade since these operate today like they were new). I haven't A/B tested the Cinnamon line and don't need to- they sound wonderful to my ears and delight the eyes. Very well constructed with great shielding and they look cool too (like admiring the wiring in a muscle car's engine kind of way). I own two currently in 1m and 2m lengths and am a big admirer of AudioQuest.

i have a pioneer elite reciever 2010 model. an with belkin pure av cables the colors are good the sound is good to fair, the speed is not fast i notice the time it takes when you scrol through menu tabs, or gaming seems jittery. then i picked up a monster cable from walmart for 35 bucks. terrible cable, worse then the belkin, at least the 25 dollar belkin cable held its own in the color department, the monster cable did apear to satisfy the speed as far as scrolling through menu tabs and gaming but i lost alot of color saturation. i had to increase my color settings on my tv. then i decided to fully upgrade my hdmi cables with these audioquest. i notice the color returned , i notice apart from the other cables that the blacks and shades are much more amplified, i notice more color spectrum, but minimally noticable.the (low jitter) audio claim seems to be true as far as my observation. i notice the audio is slightly smoother but keep in mind i am using the pioneer elite which does a good job with the audio on its own. but i do notice a dramatic improvement with audio and the bass tones are much more true and smooth. overall the audio is a step better then previous cables. the gameplay is smooth when i look around in a first person shooter game the movement is much more progressive and smoother , the gameplay is smoother and movement is smoother. its not going to make your tv work betteer , its not going todouble your audio experience its not going to wow you , but it will put the audio and video where it should be with the equipment you provide. it will place the audio and video"where it should be". if you have lower end tv or lower end reciever then i do not recomend these cables for audio or video. however if you have a lower end tv but want smooth game play i do reccomend this cable despite the lower end tv, you will help your gaming by providing a faster communication between your tv and the gaming console.

Printer OK average printer. Google home kind of disappointed I have had to spend a lot of time with tech support getting it to work with certain things and expecially setting it up with my thermostat it's still not quite right and it doesn't do all the commands I expected especially the fact that actually says on the product label that it's set reminders which it does not and I signed up for beta testing so I do hope you come out with the AutoVoice and Tasker you have Tasker listed on the Google homepage and it should not be because you can not just use Tasker you have to use IFTTT and/or AutoVoice and Tasker to complete a entire command. And it also crashed my phone while I was beta testing it so I don't recommend that it be on there. You advertised. Why did you not add Bluetooth that should have been obvious since most ancillary items like speakers and such are Bluetooth. And I'm having issues with it hearing me I'm literally sitting about 10 to 15 feet directly away from it and it doesn't hear me unless I significantly raise my voice which I'm finding very disappointing because I thought I'd have definitely a more household range since I have a completely open floor plan. Most of my products are Google so I got Google home instead of Alexa. I also have to get Chromecast so I can do some things, so that's an additional product I have to buy. I know Alexis got a extra year of engineering on it so I'm hoping Google home will catch up and I'm hoping that you provide updates and not asked us to buy new versions because it's too expensive to continue to do that. So please pass my suggestions along I continue to tell them to the technicians and the beta testers and the web page so those things would really help. Any idea on how I can improve the voice range? Or do you think it's a defect? If you can reply to this let me know. That's all for me. Have a great one. Thanks.

      A well-made, mid-priced HDMI 2.0 cable

High-speed HDMI 2.0 cables with HDCP 2.2 compatibility are required for the new HDR 4K TV's. Yes, these are digital signals that should not degrade or be terribly affected by the 'quality' of a cable, or how much silver content is used to make it... BUT - I tried using cheap HDMI cables with my 10-year old 1080P TV, and definitely experienced artifacts and dropouts until I installed a higher-grade cable, even on this simpler signal that should work with lower signal-to-noise ratios than 4K will ever tolerate. Also, my older TV will lose compliance with DirecTV DVR more often with the cheap cable, requiring reboot of the TV to regain video connection. This cable was purchased alongside a new 4K TV, and has worked wonderfully since purchase. NO noticeable cable-related noise issues so far, or losing compliance with the same DVR's copy protection circuitry, either. So all I can tell you is - - I am satisfied with this product, and feel it is a justifiable price when you are pairing it with a new, state-of-the-art 4K TV. I do, however, doubt there is much (if any) reason to spend more for a comparable length, high-speed HDMI cable - even from AudioQuest. Hope that helps.....

check out the AudioQuest website to see how great they are and what they offer. this is not the rolls royce top of the line but it might as well be. AudioQuest Cinnamon AudioQuest Cinnamon HDMI is absolutely one of the very best HDMI cables in its class. It produces an much sharper, more accurate picture from all video sources, and also sounds much better than any competing HDMI cables. AudioQuest packed Cinnamon HDMI with all the newest HDMI features with the best pure, solid-core wire , incredibly well-machined HDMI ends (with a proprietary termination process for much better signal transfer), and extremely effective shielding technology. All of this combines to produce one of the best HDMI cables at its price. The video technology will make your eyes pop out of your head, but it’s the sound of Cinnamon that will perk up your ears. Cinnamon has a big, bold sound, rich and lively with excellent transient performance and a neutral tonal balance which is guaranteed to complement any audio/video system.

Even better cables than the Forest!!

Originally got the Forest 2m HDMI cables to use with my blu ray player. They are amazing cables!! Don't get me wrong at all. I settled on buying a new pair of Cinnamon HDMI cables. What a huge difference. Like one of the other reviewers said,"Like Night and Day!" It is...Don't let others lead you to believe that cables are cables. With all the new advancements in HDTV's you truly need a faster cable to handle the 120hz on up to 600hz HDTV's. And this is a newer 1.4 cable!! I am amazed at the color rendition across the whole spectrum. The contrast is amazing, the shadows are realistic, the blacks are nice and dark where they are suppose to be now. And the brights are natural and not overdriven. I would easily tell my friends and family if they are planning on buying a new 120hz, 240hz, or even a 480hz LCD or LED-LCD or plasma to invest in these great cables!!
