For all you comic book geeks and bat geeks! You all must unite when it comes to this 80's tales told by the one critically acclaimed writer of our time! who wrote such movies as Robocop 2, Robocop 3, 300, Sin City and Batman: Year One. Directed 300, Sin City and The Spirit. Finally! It comes to our little screens but not really since we now have 100 inch lcd's these days. The story is depicted by frank miller as seen in this movie as about batman being in 50's and is retired for several years as the his cape as been but down for quite some time. Til a new force of arrives and wrecks havoc in Gotham City and it alarms the city for hope of batman's return. Bruce wayne having no choice dons the black cape and goes out kicks many behinds. The animation in this flick is absolutely beautiful! The voice talent is superb! not to mention that batman is played by Peter Weller(Robocop1) and Ariel Winter who played robin both did absolutely amazing jobs in filling the caped crusaders shoes! Batman fans! You must pick this up to add your bat collection!

The story of what Bruce Wayne would be like as an older man who feels all the pain of the abuse that his body took when he was a young crimefighter makes a great story. The world has gotten more violent and he can no longer sit by yet he feels every hurt in a way he didn't decades earlier. The animation is darker and more like the more recent movies that show the world with the darkness and the pollution of the city. This new tale doesn't pull any punches but tells a good story.
