Q: Do you put the cheese on top? Do you wait until it's cooked then add the cheese for melting?
A: Exactly. The residue heat will do the work.
A: Basically YES! But don't add any additional liquids. (normally i add a splash of milk)..and take care to only use fresh cheese (not frozen) if you like cheese. ;)

Q: Can you make quesadillas in this?

A: I would say yes on turnovers and maybe small calazones.

A: Basically it works just like a waffle maker (both top and bottom heat together).
