Very Happy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my updated review on the BenQ 4050 as my original review did not give a fair observation of the product in use. With that said; B.B. had me return the product to the nearest location and they ordered a new one to be rush delivered, so I would have it before Superbowl. Everything worked and it was a hit with the guests. Set-up went quick and I used some settings I found at a projector review site as my base. From the factory there are two settings that need very little change: Rec709 is great for night/dark room viewing, but since we were watching sports and kept one lamp on at the back of the room (25' away) I used the Vivid setting. WoW! There are other settings you can use (eco mode, color settings, etc) if you don't mind reading the review at Sound and Vision (I used their settings) or Projector Reviews. This is my 4th projector in 16yrs (I like new toys) and it definitely has the best, sharpest and brightest picture I have owned. Don't waste your time with the 10watt built-in speaker, this deserves a full audio system to give you the WoW impact of 120" 1080p glory:) happy viewing...

not happy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just received my order for the BenQ HT4050 and the box was clearly not new and had been opened. The product inside appears in good condition and all parts appear present, but it is clearly marked as Refurbished! This was going to be put into service today for our Superbowl party on Feb 5th, however, I will not unwrap or power up this used product. This needs addressed asap!
