A: there is literally an FPS mode on the monitor

A: Yes all you need is a HDMI cable and you can hook it up.

A: i believe it can be used as a regular monitor for everyday use. I gave it to my son for his bday and he loves the computer games and he uses it for school. The quality for both use has been so far so good.

A: It is 60Hz, You could overclock it to 75 Hz but haven't tried.
