Great show Benson
Great series but I wish there were more than two seasons. I wish they had all the seasons.

Fun sitcom from the late 70s
This is a show that I enjoyed when it aired in 1979, and enjoyed again when I saw it again the other day. Robert Guillaume stars in this spinn-off of "Soap", as Benson, who takes on the role of butler at a governor's mansion. I have never watched "Soap", and I don't think it matters if you have seen it or not. This series stands well on its own. In the first season, James Noble stars as the Governor, Inga Swenson stars as Miss Gretchen Kraus, and Caroline McWilliams as Marcy, the governor's receptionist / assistant.
