Q: What hookups are needed? Also, can it come in a black stainless steel finish?

A: Hi there, thank you for your question. You will need to purchase the water supply hose separately for this dishwasher. The drain hose and junction box for hard-wiring will be included. Unfortunately this model only comes in traditional SS.

Q: Hi Is this dishwasher designed to be flush with the cabinets or should it stick out an 1 “ or so? I read that steam from the dishwasher could get into the cabinets during drying if it is flush with the cabinets. Thanks

A: I’m not an expert but a user of this dishwasher. I have this model for many years and never had a problem. May be there are some defective units causing this damage to the cabinets but I’ve never heard of this before. Accordingly it shouldn’t be sticking out from the cabinets.

Q: There are two Bosch 800 series 18" built in dishwashers but one in nearly $100 more than the other - what is the difference ??

A: If you don’t want to see the controls, pay more. Also if you are fine with a bit more of noise, same.

Q: how tall is the door? or how much clearance do I need from the dishwasher to open the door fully down?

A: Hi EIPC3. Thank you for your question. The 800 Series model SPX68U55UC has the following dimensions: 32 1/16" H x 17 5/8" W x 22 7/16" D. The door is 28 5/16".

Q: Hi, what is the required voltage needed for this, does it require a 220 V Line to be plugged in. Also, will it rise to counter height ? Thanks

A: No 220 needed, just access to a regular 110 outlet. Can be wired to a dedicated power line also, but still 110V.

Q: Can I get it in white?

A: Hi there, thank you for your question. This model does not come in white, stainless steel only.

Q: Will this fit under a standard height kitchen counter

A: Yes, standard counter height and depth
