excellent, super quiet, fantastic performance
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a couple of years of use now, I couldn't really be any happier with this unit. Actually purchased an open box/floor model at Best Buy, so this one was additionally more affordable. That said, this is by far the best dishwasher I've ever used. I mean...stop rinsing already, this thing actually cleans. Soooo quiet, whisper quiet. Really. Which obviously is about how well insulated it is; several HOURS after finishing a cycle, opening the door lets out just a ton of heat, still...very long after any drying was actually happening via any kind of actual heating. Oh, and lastly, man, does it hold a lot. So very much more than previous, older units I've owned, and really we're talking about the spacing on the lower rack. They're close, but again, doesn't matter...stuff comes out crazy clean. I have been a dishwasher hater my whole life, and this one is a game changer. Yes, I'm far too excited about this, and my Kohler sink and faucet, and my snowblower, and lawn mower, and yes, I perhaps need to get out more. Anyway, love it, highly recommended.

Great dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is quiet, cleans dishes well and the adjustable racks are great. The stainless steel interior doesn't hold smells and the removable strainer / filter makes keeping odors away easy.

Great Dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a Bosch - there’s no better dishwasher on the market. It’s so quiet that you can’t hear it running unless you are right next to it. It is efficient and gets the dishes sparkling clean. This is the first time I’ve had the 3rd shelf and I really like it for small items. The installer from Best Buy was very skilled and had it installed quickly.

Works really nice
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our old dishwasher died, and settled on this which was a higher level model than my previous dishwasher. This is WAY Quieter than my old Whirlpool, and it does a great job of cleaning. Also, the third tray is AWESOME for Asian families like mine - the chopsticks fit nicely there without any fear of falling into the heating element - dishwashing chopsticks wasn't an option with my old unit. The one down side is that being Asian, we use a lot of bowls, and I haven't figured out a great way to place a larger number of bowls.

Quiet and cleans very well
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is extremely quiet. It cleans very well. The cleaning cycles are pretty long as with most of the current crop of dishwashers. We replaced a Bosch dishwasher which failed after 14 years. That is a pretty good track record so we went with another one. It is expensive, of course, but the low noise level made it worth it to us.

Bosch 800 Series dishwasher is a winner!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great dishwasher, with lots of room to fit anything you need for it to clean. At a 42 db, my expectation was that I wouldn't be able to tell that it's on from several feet away, but that isn't the case. However, it is very quiet and doesn't impact your ability to talk or concentrate. Most of the sound appears to be coming from the top edge, which doesn't have as wide of a seal as the sides do, so if I add to that seal, I may be able to eliminate most of what little sound this dishwasher creates. The key reason that I moved up to the low end of the Bosch 800 series dishwasher was to get the Crystal Dry feature, since we wash a lot of plastic food storage containers which generally come out wet...especially the covers. After several wash cycles with this dishwasher, I have found that the plastic food storage containers don't come out any drier than they did with my 14 year Kenmore Elite dishwasher. We aren't using the Finish dishwashing pods or rinse agent, which we will try once our current supplies of those items have been used up. Lastly, the top 3rd rack doesn't hold very much when not being used for flatware, so I would have preferred the My Way 3rd rack, but I wasn't willing to go up another few hundred dollars or more to get it. We have never had a 3rd rack, so it does at least provide an option for fitting more into a load.

Great machine and experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our 5-year old Maytag stopped working because of an electronic issue that could not be repaired even after replacing two electronic components. The Maytag bit the bullet. We shopped around for a Bosch, but no one had the 300 or 500 series models in stock due to the pandemic; the 800 series model was our only choice. Best Buy delivered it in 3 days, installed it, and took away the old one. If it took 45 min from start to finish, it took a long time. We are happy with the buying and installation experiences and performance.

Q: QuestionWhat is CrystalDry.
Asked by AAG.
- A:Answer they are crystals that interact with the moisture in the dishwasher that increases the inside temp to about 175°. There isn't an electrical drying element. Works great and I assume that they last forever. For all crystal dry models

Q: QuestionHas anyone encountered a code, E24? I bought this a month ago and yesterday E24 lit up in the middle of a wash. Everything is wet, the water won't drain and it stopped working. Any insights would be GREATLY appreciated.

This question was asked about the related product: Bosch - 800 Series 24" Front Control Built-In Dishwasher with CrystalDry, Stainless Steel Tub, 3rd Rack, 42 dBa - White
- A:Answer It's a drain error. Most of the time it's not too hard to self-repair so I would suggest trying that before paying a repair person, also yours should be under warranty. That has been an all-too-common problem on our current Bosch model which is now 7+ years old. We owned two before this and never experienced the error message once. It's probably one of two things. The easiest thing to repair is clearing the impeller. Just Google Bosch dishwasher error 24 and you'll get lots of youtube videos showing how it's done. Basically, a small piece of glass or other hard object probably got stuck in the small impeller (kind of like a propeller) that pumps the water from the dishwasher to the drain. The only tools you are likely to need for this are a sponge or a baster and sponge to remove the water, needle nose pliers to remove the plastic impeller cover, and possibly a tweezer depending upon the size of the object that clogging up the works. The other possibility is more complicated and involves pulling out the dishwasher and detaching the drain hose. There are videos for this too but it probably requires a talented DIYer to pull this off. Our dishwasher is currently on the blink (Error E24!) and we've tried clearing the impeller which we've successfully done three times before, but to no avail this time around. That's how I came across you question. Good luck!
