Q: Is this speaker. Bluetooth. Connectable to any device
A: I tried to connect it to my smart TV and was unable to do so. I read that Bose does this on purpose so that you have to buy their entertainment system, which is pretty pricey, sounds good, but not good enough for the price. I believe you are able to pair this speaker with other Bose speaker though.
A: The Bose SoundTouch 30 have much better sound than Bose Home Speaker 500 and now have also airplay 2
Q: Can this device accommodate an IPod that has my music on it?
A: You can enjoy music from your iPod by connecting to the Home Speaker 500 wirelessly via Bluetooth, or alternatively using a wired auxiliary input.
Q: Can I plug in a CD player to the aux port and what type of connection is needed
A: Hi! Thank you for your question! You can plug in a CD player to the AUX port on the system using an AUX cable and you should get audio when in the AUX source on the system.
Q: What, if any wireless speakers, can I use with smart TV ?? I have the latest Verizon router, also
A: I have used the Bose - Smart Speaker 500 with my Samsung smart TV. It works great and with ease. Is it going to be as good as using a Bose Bar and subwoofer? No it will not but it serves its purpose for me in my bedroom.
A: Yes it would! You could group the speakers using the Bose Music app.
A: The speaker can't be used without being connected to power.
