The easiest way to start streaming your favorite music room to room—delivered with full, rich sound.
Q: Do these speakers operate in Stereo?
A: The pair can be used together in stereo within a room or used as single speakers in separate rooms.
A: The Bose SoundTouch 10 Wireless Music System does have a 3.5mm AUX input that you can use to connect to other devices with an audio output, including a TV.
Q: Can two of these only connect to each other by wifi and not Bluetooth ?
A: Thank you for asking. We understand that there can be confusion with the two different types of wireless technologies with SoundTouch. The devices require a home wifi network to talk to each other and play music in sync. However, as far as connectivity to your audio device (cell phone/tablet), you can stream your apps through Bluetooth. The device will pair to the closer of the two speakers and the first speaker will rebroadcast the audio signal to the second speaker over wifi. If you have further questions about that, don't hesitate to let us know. You can reach us at 1-800-379-2073. We are open from Mon. – Fri., 9 AM – 9 PM EST.
A: Bose Sound link devices are battery powered and rechargeable and my daughter uses it exactly the way you are asking.
Q: Does this pack come with a remote?
A: Yes it comes with a remote but also works (requires really) a smart phone app that functions as a remote as well. As a result I set the remote down after I opened the box and have no idea where it is now :).
Q: I'm looking for a true wireless Bose speaker with battery power only. Does this exist?
A: Our SoundLink Bluetooth speakers operate on battery power without the need for a wall outlet.
A: We are happy to confirm that these speakers are compatible with an iMac.
A: The system will show the device as busy. I have 5 devices and they can all be used independently at the same time or all as one system (same music playing). I have been able to shut down a device that was connected to another user and basically hijack the device after powering it back up.
