Q: QuestionWill these speakers work great if placed in a wall?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Although the 791 speakers can be mounted on a wall, their sound quality is optimized for ceiling installation. Thanks!
Answered by Bose
Q: QuestionMust these speakers be used in a pair? Can I use a single speaker in a bathroom for example.
Asked by dcguy82.
- A:Answer You can use a single speaker. That's exactly what I have right now. I do plan to put in the second when I have time but the single works fine for non-stereo sounds.

Q: QuestionWhat do these speakers get connected to? Computer stereo ipad? Does it have bluetooth?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer These speakers need to be driven by a separate receiver or amplifier. This could be done with a Bose SA4 amplifier for WiFi use or with 3rd party equipment. The type of receiver you choose to power them would dictate what type of other devices could connect and how. Thank you for your question.

Q: QuestionBose x B&WAre the 791 better sounding to function as stereo in a balcony than B&W CCM 663 or CCM 684? Do they offer better bass than B&W? I'm asking because I'm planning to set up a B&W home theater, but was thinking to use a pair of Bose for the balcony instead of B&W. Thanks.
Asked by Tur.
- A:Answer the real truth about speakers is how do they sound TO YOU...most quality speakers today don't have big advantage over any others but the difference is how you like your music to sound

Q: QuestionWhat do I need?I would like to replace my old Sony system, sub-woofer, center speaker and four speaker, with Bose. How many Bose 791 speakers and what kind of Bose sub-woofer do I need?
Asked by Dieter.
- A:Answer The 791’s can be connected to any receiver compatible with speakers rated up to 100 watts at 4 – 8 ohms. The number of 791’s that can be connected are only limited by the number of speaker outputs on the receiver. As far as a subwoofer is concerned, we do not manufacture one for this type of setup. You will want to connect a non-Bose subwoofer that conforms to your receivers specifications. Thanks for the questions!
