Cute for younger kids
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. It is super cute for kids probably under 6. My son was 7 and was a little to old for it. It worked great though.

My Granddaughter Loved It
||Posted .Botley was a great gift for my 8 year old granddaughter. She was easily able to program it to run through a set of commands. She shared it with her 11 year old brother who was equally happy to play with it. Together they were able to program it to move through a maze and then park itself in a pre-set parking spot. Wonderful toy!

Good product if you have realistic expectations
||Posted .This is a solid, well built robot that is designed to do one thing, teach kids how to do basic sequencing. My 6 year old enjoyed programming it a couple of times, but ultimately was disappointed that it didn't "do more."

Awesome learning toy!
||Posted .Bought this to get my son off the tablet some. I figured something interactive was better than watching youtube videos. He loves it and plays with it several times a week. Its very easy to start out, and can get as complex as you want it to.

6 year old loves it
||Posted .My daughter got this for Christmas and loves it. I don't know if it will teach coding but she is learning how to program the robot to move around the house. Keeps her busy for a few hours.

Q: QuestionWhat age is this robot for?
Asked by Laurie.
- A:Answer My son is 5 years old and plays with it very well. I'm sure it has a wide age range because it can do simple tasks but it can also do complex ones. It all depends on how many commands you input and how many of the accessories you want to use at one time. In other words, you can program to do either simple tasks like following a line, or make it do 50+ commands around all sorts of obstacles and back.
