Q: Does this work with the Canon T5 (NOT T5I but T5. )
A: No, it does not. I will be returning my lens today.
A: Yes it fits Canon EOS Body and is for EF and EF-S lenses.
Q: will it fit a rebel t6 eos.

A: If you are referring to a Bower MC7 2X Tele-converter, it will connect and work with a cannon 6TI. I use it with a 75-300mm canon lens. To get good color results you will have to open the aperture settings in the camera, if I remember correctly 2 steps.. Experiment with the aperture to correct the color and you will get very good results.
