Frank Henenlotter's Best!
||Posted ."Brain Damage" is a great low budget horror film from the 80s! Young Brian meets this strange parasite named Aylmer (Elmer), who provides a liquid injection that puts him on episodes of hallucination highs. He soon realizes these doses come at a price, as the creature wants human brains in exchange. I was truly blown away by this movie! "Brain Damage" is horror with elements of comedy, and enjoyed every moment! You will be charmed by the antagonist, without a doubt! I love the works of Frank Henenlotter, but I think this film tops them all! Plus, Arrow Video's new blu-ray release makes the film look better than ever! Highly recommended.

Elmer says buy
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.I'll admit, I'm only a casual Hennenlotter fan, so I only picked up Brain Damage when it was on sale but I was pleasantly surprised. Brain Damage is a fun goopy flick and Arrow is always reliable for providing a great scan and loaded with extras.

Arrow does it again
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. So if you are a basket case fan then this film is a definite buy for you. it has the same great gore effects as the BC sequels and it also has an exceptionally fun story to go with them. Aylmer is superb.

80's B - horror at its best
||Posted .I loved this movie as a kid, it was cheesy good. It even has a cameo from another horror franchise in it. It blew mind as a kid. I always hoped that these characters would make a cameo in Basket Case 2 or 3 but never did.
