Q: How does it work for women?
A: No reason why it wouldn't work. I use the trimmer on my mustache and beard when I want to get rid of it.
A: Most braun razors use the same charging cord just double check the bottom of the razor and see if the outlet resembles your current braun outlet and most likely it'll be compatible.
