Romero at work
||Posted .Another departure from zombies for Romero. Like Monkey Shines, this peaked my interest because he's mostly known for zombie flicks. This is a great revenge story. Includes a Misfits video and commentary and a great performance by Stormare

Excellent psychological thriller!!!
Posted .I love George Ramero and I love zombie movies, but when I found out about this movie, which has nothing to do with zombies, I had to watch it! Other than Monkey Shines, he's mostly known for zombie flick's. In fact, the very first horror movie I ever watched was Night of the Living Dead. I know, it's kind of cheesy now, but to a 6 year old, it scared the heII out of me! But, back to Bruiser. This is a brilliant movie! My wife and I loved it. It also has one of our favorite actors in it, Peter Stormare, and stars Jason Flemyng. It's similar in plot to Falling Down with Micheal Douglas, only much darker and more intense. This is the horror version of Falling Down. A guy who gets run over by everyone, including his wife and dog, until a simple white mask turns him into a man that can unleash his anger on those that get in his way. A great movie with a great twist at the end. This is one of those great films that manage to slip through the cracks of the publics eye. A definite must own for any true horror collector, it even has a Misfits' video (new Misfits, not old.) I highly recommend it! You may also want to check out Edmond and The Ugly.
