Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had tried several dash cams, love that you can removed this one very easy and install on another vehicle as it doesn’t have one of those 3M tape mounts. The videos are super sharp and the motion sensor is awesome to record at night any movements around your vehicle

Efficient camera for purpose
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The car and driver dash cam is an inexpensive camera to use for everyday driving. Great picture and once you have the button positions memorized it is easy to use. Good product for the money so far.

Too pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality of the camera is great and it is able to capture the entire front of the car 180 degrees, the G sensor is on point, it detects if the car is hit and starts recording and locks the recording meaning it won’t erase and you’ll be able to view the recording.. A huge con is the battery never seems to be charged? It has to be connected to power the whole time you drive or it dies and powers off, another con is the date and time has to be programmed every single day and I’ve had this device for a good 5 months... as far as the installation it was so easy! Just read your manual or else it won’t make sense and you wouldn’t know how to operate the device.. I haven’t seen the night vision in action so I’m not too sure how that is.. it states it has lane departure? But I’ve never seen it in action, I really don’t think it works? Because my car has lane departure, not a bad driver but it has alerted me a couple times and the device didn’t For $100 maybe it’s worth it but $180 is too pricey for the “features” it so call has.. overall I’d rather get a cheaper device, it’s not worth it... I would’ve returned it but too late and it does what it’s supposed to anyway

Don't count on it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the screen size and that you can see that it's recording... supposedly! However, today we witnessed an accident and clicked the button to save the video! When we got home we put the SD card into our computer and found nothing but a bunch of videos that we hadn't chosen to save from November 2018! It seems as though once the card was full, it simply stopped saving video! So, make sure you check your settings or this thing is worthless! Also, it needs a longer record option like 10 minutes per loop instead of 3 but obviously that wouldn't have mattered in our situation anyway!

Good for the money but not perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dashcam works pretty well. The video quality is nice, but when I tired to watch some of the videos I didn't hear sound despite having the mic on. Sometimes, randomly it'll stop recording for what I assume is processing some video but it's VERY dumb to randomly stop filming on a dashcam. The controls are seriously lacking and you have to figure out how to go through the menu with just 3 buttons, and the manual is incorrect and unclear about how to toggle features.

Better than I thought
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is very impressive. The clarity is awesome day or night. It has very clear 1080p in all weather conditions. I did all the wiring myself. It's that simple. I do like the record feature when the car is parked but you only see what is in front if the car gets hit in a parking lot. It comes with a 8 gig memory card but I installed a 64 gig card. I turned off the lane departure feature and the close proximity feature. I already have these on my car.

Not the greatest
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Camera has very nice picture but the red LED ring light in front just draws attention to the camera. You can turn it off but you have to turn it off every time you turn on the camera. The battery also does not hold a charge even after plugged in over night. For what it cost there has to be something better out there.

Complicated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The instruction booklet is printed so small that I can hardly read it. Camera is supposed to come on automaticaly, but only does it about 80% of the time... expensive for what you get and complicated. I still cannot figure out how to play it back or why I needed a big SD card when it only records 3 minutes. I was hoping I could record my road trip, but can't figure out how. Instructions suck...you need a magnify glass to even read them. Guess they saved 50 cents on paper that way. The lane changing alert beeps all the time, even if you don't change lanes. Had to turn this feature off...

Q: QuestionIs this easy to play back for police if something should happen while traveling?
Asked by KennyB.
- A:Answer I would suggest a tablet or computer for playback (just due to the size), but the playback is fairly easy from the unit itself.
