Watch is way better than expected!
I hesitated to get this watch since there's so many smart watches and fitness trackers available in the market. None had a long lasting battery or tide function like this one. Better yet, this watch is solar powered. I go to the beach weekly and seems to be enough to keep charged up without and decrease in battery capacity. Atomic clock sync is also great. No need to adjust the time every other month. Then there's the compass, thermometer, barometer, altimeter. Some comments complained about the thermometer being inaccurate since it's worn on the wrist and picking up some of the body temperature. Duh? Just take it off your wrist for an accurate measurement. Useful in the water as it overcomes the offset introduced by the body temperature. Might be the same in the snow or hot climates above body temperature. This watch is a great buy at Best Buy!

Functions not accurate enough to be useful
Yes, I'm a sucker for gadgets! Since I use barometric pressure and temperature frequently in my consulting retirement career, this seemed like a really cool watch to replace my previous Casio solar powered auto setting watch that had a few years and scratches on it. Yes, I should have known better. Of course a thermometer mounted on a watch on your arm is useless, reporting a temperature someplace between body temperature and ambient, Barometric pressure will not report in mm Hg, the unit I need most often. The altitude is neither sensitive nor accurate. I have not figured out how to use the compass yet as it displays only for a few seconds and is gone. As a watch however, it does well. Looks good and as with my last Casio, I especially like the automatic back-light feature. The battery seems to charge a little better than my previous one and it definitely receives the time signal significantly better.

Great Watch, Great Price, Lots of Functions
I bought this watch on a Deal Of The Day offer. Even without a large discount this watch is well worth the cost. I love a watch that works for me ... not just showing me the time. The manual is bulky but accurate and detailed. I can't speak to the durability of this watch. I've only owned it for a short period. I have owned other Casio "extreme" watches before and they've always been tanks. They can handle whatever you throw at them.
