A well-crafted series
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was at first hesitant on liking this series, but the first season dispelled my fears and left me wanting more. The voice cast is wonderful and their character's interactions make everything about the world of Castlevania feel real and relatable. I highly recommend this series to anyone who has never known about the Castlevania series. This is a wonderful first start.

Excellent for Castlevania Fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As many reviewers have already stated, the Castlevania series on Netflix is absolutely incredible for fans of the game series. The Castlevania series has always had an interesting premise to it. Every 100 years Dracula is resurrected and the Belmont Clan fights to destroy him when he comes back. This particularly story for the series focuses on the events of Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse with elements from Symphony of the Night. They did a great job adapting the game's story and elements into this new series. The bottom line is, if you are a fan of Castlevania, you will love this set. Sadly it is only 4 episodes, season 2 was 10, but it is an effective 4 episodes that will leave you wanting more.

A Good Anime
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ah, Castlevania. The bane of my schoolwork. I've played the games for almost a decade, so when I heard they were making a show out of it, I was thrilled. Less so to hear that they were leaving out Grant DeNasti (why does no one at Capcom like to acknowledge that he exists?), but what can you do? If you're like me and have an Internet connection as slow as molasses, this physical release is the best way to enjoy the show. The first series isn't long, less than a half a dozen episodes, but the pacing is good and each characters gets s bit of time to shine. For less than $20, pick it up.

A short romp in the world of Castpevania
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a more recent fan of the Castlevania series, getting my first experience with Lord of Shadows and then really getting into Symphony of the Night. This animated interpretation of the world in which Castlevania takes place was done well. Though the series is only 4 episodes long, not at one time did I feel that it was cheap. I actually enjoyed the english dub, the writing was very well done. Trevor is a sass master and Alucard just mirrors and matches him. Juat think of your sassy best friend that you have swear matches with and laugh about them later. I cant recommend this series enough.

Hidden wall pork cops
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoyed watching Castlevania series. Between the story, animation and voice acting are all excellent. The animation is very similar to Vampire Hunter D. The story is dark but there's is some humor to even things out.

A Fan of Castlevania
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a fan of Castlevania. Castlevania 1 NES Game, is one my favorite NES Games. I didn't like Castlevania 2 NES Game because I find it hard. I did like Castlevania 3 NES Game because it reminded me of the first Castlevania 1 NES Game. When I heard about a Castlevania Animated Series, I didn't know what to expect. After watch the first four episodes, I like it. Castlevania Animated Series, part of it is based on Castlevania 3 NES Game. If you like any Castlevania Games, you might like the animated series.

Amazing series!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing series! I always get worried when video games are turned into cartoons or movies because many times they miss the mark. Netflix nailed it with this series! Season 1 is short, but sets everything up for when season 2 explodes with even more story and gore! If you are a fan of the games, you will definitely like this!

Short but sweet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At only 4 episodes this is hardly a real season. Still as a pilot run these 4 episodes set the stage for one of the best adaptations of a video game to TV if not the best. The cursing is a bit heavy handed at times but the themes are spot on for both the time period and series with plenty of classic tie ins and easter eggs for fans, and let face it not like Konami is doing anything with the license game wise...
