A: The smoke controller has a number range of 1-5. At maximum setting, my smoker reached a high of around 315 degrees after 45 minutes, with outside temp being 35 degrees. Setting smoker control at 2 resulted in temp of just over 200 degrees. Setting control to 2.5 put temp at around 225-230 degrees.
