Visually-Spectacular Anime for the Ages
This beautiful and meaningful animated film is a visual odyssey from beginning to end, a lavish labor of love unmatched in recent animation. Every frame of the film is worthy of hanging in an art gallery; collectively, the film is one of the most artistically-accomplished anime ever made. A truly amazing film that deserves to be seen by anyone who loves anime or art in general, the movie delves deep into its metaphysical story, at times feeling like an animated 2001: A Space Odyssey. Mysterious and compelling throughout, this is a complex and fascinating movie that casts a unique spell and achieves a dream-like quality throughout. Every aspect of the production is superlative, from the extraordinary art and animation to the haunting musical score from Ghibli composer Joe Hisaishi. Simply put, this is a movie you've got to see if you love animation.

An underwater feast for your eyes.
Children of the Sea is a visually stunning feature length anime from STUDIO4°C. Follow the precocious girl Ruka as she meets two mysterious boys, Umi and Sora, and sets out on an aquatic adventure that is a feast for the eyes and soul. This movie is a true visual masterpiece with its visionary depictions of underwater aquatic life. This movie is a sight to behold and entertaining for all ages. Come join Umi, Sora, and Ruka as they unravel the mysteries beneath the watery depths and the mysterious origins of these two boys. Highly recommended.
