Blow away the competition with this CLX SET gaming desktop computer. An Extreme Intel Core i9 10980XE 3.0GHz processor with 18-Cores along with 128GB of high speed RAM power through everyday titles and programs plus AAA titles with high-performance, while the 4TB HDD and a 960GB SSD offer vast storage space. This CLX SET gaming desktop computer has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card for detailed 1440p and 4K gaming.
Q: What type of motherboard and power supply? Can I safely add a second RTX2080ti?
A: I'm guessing here but looking at the shape of the VRM heatsink, white secondary M.2 shroud and the reinforced PCIe in the picture... this -looks- to be the ASRock X299 Steel Legend motherboard. CybertronPC does list this motherboard as an option when building the CLX SET, so it is possible. If true then you have hope of running multiple video cards, as the Steel Legend is purported to support NVLINK and 3-way SLI. Looking at the image again the chassis appears to have vacant PCI space, and -it looks like- no space used for 3.5 inch bays adjacent to the PCI bridge. With just the one radiator (I am assuming) attached in the front, I don't see why you couldn't fit another 2080ti in there, but I couldn't tell you with certainty. We can't see the power supply in the image so I don't know, but the model number suggests that is has either a 1000 watt EVGA SuperNOVA G3 or 1000 watt EVGA SuperNOVA G5... but like I said there's no way to know if that is what you're getting here. You may find that it doesn't have extra PCIe rails for expansion. If this is the case you may need to buy more power cabling if the PSU is modular, or upgrade the PSU altogether if it isn't modular in order to support a second video card.
