Q: Can this be used with the Gigabyte RTX 4080 Gaming OC and Corsair RM1000x PSU?
A: I'm using it with a Nvidia RTX 4080, Corsair RM850x and Lian Li pc-o11-dynamic case, and no problems at all. I had to bend the cable slightly to fit in the case. Much better solution than the cable provided by Nvidia.

A: Yes, the Corsair cable can handle 300w per input which makes it suitable for the 4090. The 5th and 4th port in the adapter is usually just for stability for overclocking and only really requires 3 pcies
