  • Features
    • Buffered or Registered: Unbuffered (Registered (buffered) memory modules are classified by the addition of a register between the memory controller and DRAM modules. When compared to conventional unbuffered (unregistered) memory, this type provides more stability with less electrical load on the controller, making it a common choice for use in robust applications, such as servers.)
    • Data Integrity Check: Non-ECC (Error-correcting code (ECC) memory helps to maintain data integrity within a computer system, protecting it from potential crashes as well as losses or changes to data due to undetected errors. Systems that use ECC have an additional chip on the RAM that acts as the error check.)
    • Memory Channels: Quad (Multi-channel memory increases the rate of data transfer between the DRAM memory and memory controller by adding more channels of communication. The more channels, the more memory bandwidth.)

Q: Hi all, just out of curiosity the voltage on the specs are wrong correct? Bestbuy has them at 1.2V while Amazon has them listed at 1.35V. Not a huge difference but I was almost denied a price match due to this fact

A: Hi Zach, The memory will 1.2V if installed and left at stock 2133 MHz speed, but will then use 1.35V if you enable the 3200 MHz memory profile. -Brian

Q: Im getting a b450 tomahawk max with a ryzen 5 3600 and I'm wondering if this ram is compatible?

A: It'll definitely should work for it, but with 3rd gen Ryzen try to stick with speeds around 3400-3600. 3200 is acceptable, but the other two are preferable.

Q: It states "quad channels" does this work in a dual channel configuration, as listed in a MSI B350 Bazooka motherboard specs? PC has 4 ram slots and came with a single 8GB stick was only going to install the 2 stick kit (2x8GB) in the B channel.

A: Hi, This would work only in dual channel mode or quad channel mode if a motherboard supports it. Since yours doesn't support triple channel, and in case you add this kit successfully to what your system came with, it would act as single channel. If you have anything else we can help with, please reach out: support.corsair.com -Art

Q: Will this memory work in a HP TP01-2234 Pavilion Desktop computer?

A: Hi Chingu, Based's on that system's motherboard specifications, yes, this memory kit is compatible with that system. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out: support.corsair.com -Albert

Q: I'm getting a TUF gaming X570-plus motherboard with a Ryzen 7 3700X 3rd Generation. Will this be compatible with it?

A: Hi Nick, According to your motherboard specifications, it should support the speed and capacity of this memory kit. Please be sure to enable the proper speed profile in your motherboard settings. -Brian

Q: will these memory cards fit a del XPS 8700?

A: They should fit but it will depend on your motherboard and cable management all in all, I had an xps also but my took ddr3 for my motherboard
