    • Type of Memory (RAM): DDR4
    • Form Factor: Desktop (The type of computer the memory is configured to fit in.)
    • Speed: 3000 megahertz
    • Latency: 15-17-17-35 (Refers to the amount of time between the moment a memory request is initiated and the moment the request is retrieved by a processor, commonly written as a series of 4 numbers, or timings. Each timing measures the performance of the module according to a specific parameter. Generally, the lower the numbers, the faster the RAM can respond to requests.)
    • CAS Latency: 15 (Column Address Strobe (CAS) Latency refers to the number of clock cycles (for synchronous DRAM) or nanoseconds (for asynchronous DRAM) between the moment an instruction or command is initiated and the moment the data result is available. Generally, the lower the numbers, the better.)

  • Speed
    • Memory Speed Rating: PC4-24000 (The RAM's bandwidth rating. The numbers refer to generation and transfer speed and are typically separated with a hyphen. For example, PC3-12800 would indicate that the module is 3rd generation and has a theoretical bandwidth of 12,800 megabytes per second (MBs). The higher the second number, the faster the speed.)

  • Features
    • Buffered or Registered: Unbuffered (Registered (buffered) memory modules are classified by the addition of a register between the memory controller and DRAM modules. When compared to conventional unbuffered (unregistered) memory, this type provides more stability with less electrical load on the controller, making it a common choice for use in robust applications, such as servers.)
    • Data Integrity Check: Non-ECC (Error-correcting code (ECC) memory helps to maintain data integrity within a computer system, protecting it from potential crashes as well as losses or changes to data due to undetected errors. Systems that use ECC have an additional chip on the RAM that acts as the error check.)
    • Memory Channels: Dual (Multi-channel memory increases the rate of data transfer between the DRAM memory and memory controller by adding more channels of communication. The more channels, the more memory bandwidth.)
    • Lighting Type: RGB

Q: I have an hp sunflower motherboard, will this ram work? On the hp website it specifies that it can hold up to 32 GB of ram, but only accepts 4 and 8 GB cards. There’s 2 slots so that doesn’t make sense. I’ve seen that it can use 16 GB sticks.

A: Hi, I'm afraid there'd be no way to know without more information on the specific board (and that's a proprietary HP board), please consult your manual for it and reach out if you have any other questions: support.corsair.com -Art

Q: My mobo calls for PC4-21300 (2666 mhz). Does that mean if I get PC4-24000 (3000mhz), it would be a waste of money because they would only run at the stated mobo speed?

A: Hi Jeffrey, It could even mean that the kit wouldn't run, depending on the motherboard. I'd get what the motherboard suggests. If you have any other questions, please reach out: support.corsair.com

Q: What is the pin count on this unit? I am looking for a pair of ram sticks for a Gigabyte z97x ski motherboard, which I believe has 240 pins.

A: You shouldn't be looking at pin count solely. This is a DDR4 kit with 288 pin but that's not all there is to it. Please use our website and your manual for the motherboard to purchase an upgrade to your existing DDR3 kit.

Q: So i have an intel core i7 cpu with 2904mhz and was wondering if anyone here would know oif thats a problem to use together

A: You would want to check to ensure that your motherboard supports the speed and capacity of this memory kit. -Brian

Q: Will this work with a PC I am interested in buying? CyberPowerPC - Gamer Supreme Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - 16GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT - 1TB SSD Model:SLC7600BST SKU:6400453

A: You would want to check with CyberPowerPC to ensure that your system supports the speed and capacity of this memory kit. -Brian

Q: I have an Omen 25L HP desktop. 25L-0235se Motherboard is Dorado 4L Will this memory fit my machine? thx Ruben

A: Hi Ruben, We recommend that you check with HP to ensure that your system supports the speed and capacity of this memory kit. -Brian
