A: Yes
A: They sure are, and they can.
A: i'm assuming you have an xbox one? quote form corsair "Xbox One, the console only supports stereo headsets or headsets that have 3.5mm audio jacks. This means only VOID Stereo and VOID Surround will work on the Xbox One. In terms of functionality, the VOID Stereo and VOID Surround will allow gamers to hear stereo audio and use the mic to communicate with other players."
A: the headset will install automatically when the usb dongle is plugged into the computer and be usable. BUT in order to get the "surround sound" you will need to install the corsair utility engine software.
