It takes too long. I know it's a slow cooker. BUT.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Will probably buy another model. I find the recommendations are not right.

Small Crock Pot Good for Couple or Small Family
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Crock Pot brand and had to break down and buy a new one after my other slow cooker died. I did look at many different models and decided on this one. It does the job, but is rather small. I do have trouble fitting in enough potatoes and carrots with a small roast for my family of 3. I think this is great for a single person or couple, but now that my daughter is older, it simply can not fit what I would normally want to cook for the three of us, while allowing for a bit of leftovers for the next day. I am looking at buying a bigger one now..

Time Saver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product for anyone who doesnt have the time to cook or just want to eat healthier. Very easy operation since there's only two buttons (on and off) and five settings (two highs, two lows, and a warming setting). It takes up not too much space on the counter and saves time by not having to watch it cook and only having one dish to wash. Basically anyone can operate it since the exterior never gets hotter than warm.

Why didn't I do this earlier?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a simple straight-forward cooking device that works exactly as advertised. We've used it with frozen slow-cooker meals from Omaha steaks and the results are at least as good as the restaurants here in Vacaville CA with about 5 minutes work. We saved the price of the cooker in the first two meals by eating in, in quiet comfortable surroundings. We are retired and find the simplicity of the cooker and the quality of the food it produces significantly enhance our quality of life.

Great for Smaller Households
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought two of these when they were on sale. We are a two person household and this 4qt. size is perfect for us. But it's big enough to make a meal and still have enough leftovers for another meal or two, if we want. I love that it automatically goes to a "Keep Warm" function at the end of the set cooking cycle. We bought one for our future daughter-in-law too. She's never used a slow cooker and loves the simplicity, now that she's used it. It's a basic slow cooker, but meets all the needs of our two person families.

Compact size for smaller portions
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a larger CrockPot, but didn't like using it for anything but large portions. Started looking for a smaller one and saw quite a few in the $15 dollar range, but I liked this one (4 qt.) because it has the program settings of high/low and a 4/6 hour timer, with the pot keeping the food warm once it is done cooking. Have already used it for a stew and another time for oatmeal. Works fine, nice smaller profile. Good price at Best Buy - others were about $15 higher.

Q: Questionwhere can I find the removable ceramic dish and lid? Mine is brokenproduct SCCPVP400-S
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It would probably cost almost as much as a new product. Not to seem wasteful or anything but I would recommend buying a new one. :/ sorry. Or possibly checking with the manufacturer website.

Q: Questionmy locking lid crock pot has high and low settings... HIGH is 4 and 6 then LOW is 8and 10 this is very confusing to me
Asked by pattib.
- A:Answer Generally, you don't cook things in a crockpot on high longer than 6 hours and when cooking on low, most recipes call for 8 - 10 hours. It isn't very common to have a recipe on low for 4 hours so I think that must be why they made it this way. When I do need to cook something on low for 6 hours, I set my oven timer. Not ideal, but I love how well this particular crock pot cooks, I just deal with it.
