Cruising [Blu-ray] [1980]

Absolutely incredible movie that has only improved with age. This is Friedkin’s masterpiece. Unfortunately, the transfer is a mess, with every frame loaded with hideous digital noise reduction and revisionist color timing. I expect this was mandated by Friedkin, as Arrow transfers are usually immaculate. Still, it’s the best we’re likely to get for this film for a long time, so I’m happy to have it.

Good movie for Gay pride month, in blue-ray and in high resolution. recommended for anyone who wants to add to their collection.

Great film by Friedkin. Transfer is great and there is a bunch of special features.

The film is vastly underrated, and Arrow gives it the treatment it deserves.
