Nice compact design, powerful motor
||Posted .Owned for 5 months when reviewed.I bought this Cuisinart to replace a 30 year old model that was frankly built like a tank but showing signs of age. At first glance, it scared me a little. Not nearly as heavy duty. The blades especially seemed kinda flimsy. But I have to admit they still can do the job. I used it with veggies and even big chunks of meat and the chopper went through everything like hot butter. No strain at all, on low or high. Very powerful motor and much quieter than the one it replaced. This is a good simple design with high and low an pulse buttons to handle pretty much every job. And the hopper is big enough to accommodate most recipes. Yeah, it is kinda pricey but I don't mind that as long is the product is well built and does the job. This Cuisinart seems to qualify on all fronts.

Just what I was looking for
||Posted .I was replacing my original Cuisinart after the assembly decided it would no longer lock correctly and work. This unit is smaller but I am no longer cooking for a larger group so this unit is the right size and therefore stores away more easily. The downside is that the accessories I had for the old unit no longer fit (Someone got a deal at the Thrift Store). The blade is sharp, the buttons are well spaced out and it has now handled a variety of materials without a hitch. I did have to prepare some diced vegetables in batches for a soup but I can not complain. Here is hoping that this unit has the longevity of my original unit (Oh, the lid engages with greater ease much to my delight).

Versitile with large capacity
||Posted .This unit comes with two reversible discs (fine and medium) to slice/shred, depending on which side is up and one set of blades for chopping/pureeing/kneading. This powerful Cuisinart helps in shortening food prep time. The unit is lighter than expected, which helps if you have to move it. Keep in mind that because it is light, it should be watched on heavier duty chopping/pureeing/kneading, as the vibration can cause the unit to dance around the counter some.

Cuisinart is a great product!
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I bought this new Cuisinart food processor to replace an old Cuisinart processor that I had for about 40 years. The old one still worked, but I had to hold the on button down to have continuous function. There was nothing else wrong with it. I am using the new one for all my needs. It works great. Just follow the instructions.

Light Duty Processing
||Posted .I broke my previous Cuisinart processor and I went without one for a little while…I had no idea how much I had really used it before! They are so handy. Besides the obvious help with chopping vegetables and nuts, I’ve made pie crusts, homemade peanut & almond butters, shredded tons of cheese, carrots and other vegetables, mixed batters and ground meats. The problem is this model is not as heavy duty as my previous model and that’s my mistake. This model is good for light duty processing. It can still do a lot of the basics and comes with the blades for shredding/slicing as well. It will struggle to do the more laboring tasks like nut butters. All in all it is a great value for the machine and I would recommend for those basic tasks.

THE BEST PRODUCT!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Prior to this order I had my Cuisinart 43 YEARS. I raised my children on it. It was fabulous. Bought it when it first came out and haven't looked back. Now I will be starting a new cooking experience with my new Cuisinart. My Daughter bought it for me for Christmas. Can't wait to start using it. THANK YOU CUISINART!

Excellent food processor
||Posted .This is a replacement for a 40 year old Cuisinart, which still runs, but is in need of some parts which are now discontinued and obsolete. Being only 8 cups it suits my needs better then the other 14 cup hand-me-down. I like the fact that this model has a high and low button as well as pulse and off button. This model also is very powerful and does everything I need it to do perfectly. Cuisinart is the best!

Love it!
||Posted .I have tried blenders, a Ninja, food slicers and manual slicers. None work this well and quickly. I have a recipe for Sweet Potato Hash Browns that I love preparing with this. I can shred enough for a whole weeks worth of breakfast in under 5 minutes.
