A: firewall works as a barrier, or a shield, between your PC and cyber space. When you are connected to the Internet, you are constantly sending and receiving information in small units called packets. The firewall filters these packets to see if they meet certain criteria set by a series of rules, and thereafter blocks or allows the data. This way, hackers cannot get inside and steal information such as bank account numbers and passwords from you.
Q: Will this get lifetime updates (virus, malware definitions, etc)?
A: Yes, the CUJO's cloud gets updated all the time, that is the key to staying safe!
A: Hi Eric, thank you for the question. You should have no problem introducing CUJO to your network while Disney Circle operates on it! Q: Can this be used instead of a antivirus software?
A: I wouldn't chance it, I have Vipre Lifetime as antivirus
Q: Does this come with a lifetime subscription?
A: Yes, there are two price models of Cujo. You can pay a monthly fee or choose to buy the one with the simple lifetime subscription. Either way is expensive, but that's the price to pay for the peace of mind of a good home network security.
Q: Is this product compatible with Comcast? Do you still need it using Norton Security?
A: Yes it works with Comcast. This product is designed to protect stuff in your home that doesn’t have internet security. Like phones, tv’s, cameras and etc. It keeps those smart devices from being hacked.
Q: I have two routers, Xfinity and Apple. Can one CUJO be connected to both to protect each network?
A: Here is how I hooked mine up. cable modem - Cujo - switch to two wireless routers and various other hard wired devices. Works just fine, they call this bridge mode. Your Cable modem need to issue the IPs or the switch would need to be a router issuing the IPs. The support guys were very helpful at Cujo
