A: Spiked their electricity bill compared to what? Are you replacing a gaming desktop or would this be a completely new PC? Either way, it’ll likely increase your electricity bill because it’s a powerful PC. There are other contributing factors, such as running it 24/7, your specific workloads for it, the power settings you use, etc. If you’re worried about an increase to your electricity bill, a gaming rig this powerful may not be your best option. You ought to look at a gaming laptop or something with a less powerful CPU and GPU.
A: Look at their response. You see what I mean? FWIW, I did call and while they were friendly, they were equally worthless. You don’t have to discuss brand or models but you should have a basic foundation of the build. Things such as PCIe 3 or 4 for the NVMe drive? PSU wattage? Oh well, I guess we buy the PC and return it if it doesn't fit our needs.
