A: Hi Chuck, Thanks for your inquiry! This unit is not ductless. This requires an exhaust hose to vent hot air out of the room. The unit comes with a window installation kit that includes the exhaust hose and adapters needed to set up the venting system through a window or another opening. Regards, Jog
Q: What size drain hose comes with this unit?
A: Hi Cam, Thank you for your inquiry. Danby DPA120B9IWDB-6 is a self- evaporating unit. Drain hose is only recommend when running the unit on Dry Mode. Drain hose part # is 12100509000040, unfortunately we don't have the dimension. Thank you. Regards, Jerlyn
Q: Does this Danby ac model have self evap?
A: Hi Peter, Thank you for your inquiry. Danby DPA120B9IWDB-6 is self-evaporating unit. All collected water when running the unit on Auto, Cool and Fan modes are being recycled to help cool down the unit and eventually evaporates. The water drain hose should NOT be connected. There maybe very few water left and they get collected down at bottom drip pan which can hold 1 to 2 cups of water. If the drip pan gets full you will get a P1 or P2 code that means the drip pan requires draining. It requires a drain hose if and only you will be using it on Dry mode. Thank you. Regards, Jerlyn
