Description
SynopsisThe quiet of the forest surrounds you as you track your prey. You line up your rifle and take careful aim as the buck pauses, its senses on alert. You control your excitement and strain to remain silent. With great care you send off a single, powerful shot, and then watch with delight as you triumph with a direct hit.Deer Drive brings the arcade-style intensity of the classic PC title to the Wii. In this thrilling hunting game, you'll head out into the wild and see if you have the speed and precision to take down majestic bucks. Use your Wii Remote or Wii Zapper accessory to take careful aim, but be sure to remain on alert for wolves, mountain lions, grizzlies and other predators prowling the area and waiting for a chance to strike. Share the excitement with up to three friends in Hunting Party mode as you face off to determine who's the best shot.

I bought this for my husband and we have just spent the past hour and a half playing it...so much fun and we have only started with the basic one player beginner mode and the hunting party mode...My husband an avid hunter enjoyed the game very much and is looking forward to playing it alot more...although he claims the beginner mode is fairly simple we found it does get harder as you go up in rounds...
We played the hunting party mode and that was fun challenging each other and better yet you use the same Wii remote so you don't have to have 2 nunchucks...As a beginner of shooting games I had a great time and it wasn't too hard in the beginner mode - in fact we had our daughters cheering us on - so it was great for the whole family - be it playing or watching...
The game recommends playing with the Wii Zapper and unfortunately none of the stores had one in stock so I picked up the Verge brand Wii Laser (1/2 price of the Zapper...and even less because I managed to get it at 50% off as well) and it works great with that - so great I am planning on picking up another one and finally going to buy that second nunchuck in order to play the challenge mode.
We don't have any of the other hunting games for the Wii so we have nothing to compare - I would say if you are looking for a great basic shooting style game that is fairly easy to control and do with the added bonus of being a group play activity this is a great game...plus the price is right at $29.99

My friends and I tend to play Cabela's Big Buck Hunter at the bar and I've been looking for a game that would simulate that for the Wii. Unlike the other hunting games I've played for Wii, this game is much more arcade like and definitely fits the bill. One player is fun, but this game is really made for multiplayer mode! For anyone that is looking for a multiplayer game that is fun and easy for anyone to pick up and play, this is the game for you!

Deer Drive is fast moving, challenging, good to play with friends. Definitely reccomended.
Good points: Its a fun game, its fast, its easy to play. Two player and party mode makes it great to play with a buddy or a group. Like an arcade game.
Bad points: It doesn't try to be a simulation. I actually thing that's good. If you want to spend 10 minutes wandering around a pixel forest between shots this isn't for you.
